The Annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday March 26, 2016 on Church grounds beginning at 10:30 am.  We began our event this year with the video, “The Easter Story”.  We gathered the children in the Children’s Chapel to watch a 30 minute video that told the story of Jesus’ joyful entrance into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, the betrayal, Christ’s arrest, crucifixion, and the ultimate triumphant resurrection!

Following the video, we had lunch of hot dogs, chips and all kinds of desserts.  Finally it was time to hunt for Easter Eggs!  Thankfully, the stormy weather cleared and we were able to hide the eggs outdoors.  As you can see by the happy faces in the pictures, everyone discovered plenty of eggs!

A new addition to the egg hunt this year was the hiding of Resurrection Eggs!  These were special eggs that had a symbol hidden inside that helped illustrate the Easter story. Pastor Ron called on each child that found a Resurrection Egg to explain the significance of the symbol contained in the egg.

It was a great day of fun, fellowship and learning the true meaning of Easter!
